Terms and Conditions of DP Derm Care Plan - Accident & Theft

This Dp Derm Care Plan ("Plan") provides the terms and conditions under which the customer ("Customer") may replace a DP4 / Dermapen 4 ("Device") once per year for an annual fee of $695 ($595 when purchased with the initial kit or indivuel  ). This plan is exclusively for customers in the U.S. and aims to cover damages and losses of devices not covered by the manufacturer's warranty, ensuring minimal ot zero revenue loss.

 

1. Service Coverage

1.1 Dp Derm Care Plan covers one replacement of the Device per policy year.

1.2 Dp Derm Care Plan year begins on the date of purchase and continues for 12 consecutive months.

1.3 Only the Device specified at the time of Policy purchase is eligible for replacement.

1.4 The plan cannot be transferred or sold to another device, person or business.

1.5 If the client does not have or does not qualify for the Dp Derm Care Plan, the replacement cost for the non-functional/stolen DP4 / Dermapen 4 device is $1995.00.

 

2. Eligibility

2.1 The Device must be registered with DP DERM at the time of Policy purchase.

2.2 Dp Derm Care Plan is available to individuals who are 18 years of age or older.

2.3 The Device must be in the Customer's possession and used according to the manufacturer's guidelines.

2.4  The Device must still be covered by warranty 

2.5 If the customer is purchasing the DP Derm Care Plan outside of their initial purchase of the DP4 / Dermapen 4, verification by one of our representatives of the condition of their device will be required first. This will be by video call, or in person assessment. 

 

3. Replacement Process

3.1 In the event that the Device needs replacement, the Customer must contact the service provider within 30 days of the occurrence.

3.2 The Customer is required to provide proof of purchase and evidence of the issue, theft, or accidental damage.

3.3 The service provider will evaluate the claim within 48 hours and, if approved, arrange for the replacement of the Device. Standard shipping is 2 days, with options for expedited overnight shipping in certain situations.

3.4 In the case of theft, the Customer must provide a police report.

3.5 The Customer must return the damaged Device to the service provider before a replacement is issued, unless it was stolen.

 

4. Exclusions

4.1 The Dp Derm Care Plan does not cover:

4.2 Cosmetic damage that does not affect the functionality of the Device.

4.3 Unauthorized repairs or modifications, including but not limited to taking apart, adding or removing parts from other devices, swapping parts, or tampering with electronics or software.

4.4 Loss of the Device (other than theft).

     

    5. Limitation of Liability

    5.1 The service provider's liability is limited to the replacement of the Device as specified in this Policy.

    5.2 The service provider is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Device.

     

    6. Cancellation and Refunds

    6.1 The Customer may cancel the Policy within 30 days of signing up for the Dp Derm Care 1 Year Subscription Plan for a full refund, provided no replacement has been issued.

    6.2 After 30 days, the Policy is non-refundable.

     

    7. Governing Law

    7.1 This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Dp Derm Headquarters reside.

     

    8. Changes to Terms

    8.1 The service provider reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.

    8.2 Any changes will be communicated to the Customer in writing and will take effect 30 days after notification.

     

    9. Policy Renewal

    9.1 The Dp Derm Care 1 Year Subscription Plan is an auto-renewing plan that renews every year. Clients can cancel the following year's subscription up to 7 days before the auto-renew date, which is the date they signed up.
