GGP FAQ’s
-
How does GGP work?
GGP induces the production of proteins known as telomeres which protect cells against free radicals and inflammation. It also assists in stabilizing the length of telomeres, helping to prolong the lifespan of a cell. -
What are telomeres and why should I care about lengthening them?
A telomere is a cap-like section of DNA found at the ends of each chromosome. The function of telomeres is to protect the DNA during replication cycles and prevent loss of important genetic material. Each time a cell replicates, chromosomes lose little bits of information from each end, but because each end of a chromosome is capped by a telomere sequence, only small parts of telomeres are lost, and important genetic material is kept safe. Once there are no more telomeres to protect the DNA, the cell dies. GGP allows for lengthening of telomeres, which means the life span of a cell is longer, leading to increased firmness and elasticity, and an overall younger and healthier-looking complexion.
